Expressive MPE Synth
This tutorial starts from a working polyphonic patch and turns performance data into sound design. The aim is not to connect every MPE dimension because it exists; it is to make each gesture do something you can hear and control.
Build it
Begin with the poly synth tutorial. Add one expressive route, for example pressure to filter frequency. Test it. Then add timbre to another useful target and finally verify per-note pitch movement.

Design rule
Give different gestures different musical jobs. If pressure, timbre and velocity all open the same filter in the same direction, the instrument may technically be expressive while feeling surprisingly one-dimensional.
