Saving and reusable structures
A Space document stores modules, positions, parameters, routing, Buses, Groups, collapsed state, active Engines and module-specific state. Central routes are restored by endpoint identity: reopening a Space restores the instrument, not merely its visible front panels.
Patch Cookbook
Clocked generative modulation
Start with CLOXZ, choose musical divisions and route gate outputs into ENV or LFO gate targets. Add CHAOS, DRIFT, DENS and HUMAN gradually. The important word is gradually.
Quantized glide
Put QNT and GLD in the same pitch/control path. Swap their order and compare gliding into quantisation with gliding between already quantised destinations.
Harmonic morph
In HARM, try A = 1/n and B = odd(n)/n, then modulate MORPH with an LFO or ENV. A moving spectrum without swapping oscillator modules.
Multi-engine sequence
Combine SEQ Engines: ratchets for repeated sub-events, EUCLID for distributed rhythm, WALK for generative motion and GRID for deliberate placement.
Lush processing
Route a voice or Group through chorus, optionally flanger or phaser, then delay and reverb. There is no prize for using every effect, although RFM Space will not physically stop you.
